Despite Far Away’s arrival, we’ve been keenly focused on getting Hair of the Dog finished. We’re talking with manufacturers to get everything set and expect that production will start within a week. Our timeline is covered in the most recent Kickstarter update, so rather than rehash everything here, we wanted to take a minute to chat about what’s been going on behind the scenes. Transparency is always a good thing, so here’s where our last-minute efforts have been focused.
8/26 Edit: The Far Away drop-off is scheduled for this afternoon. If all goes well, we’ll be shipping the preorder copies tomorrow morning.
8/22 Edit: Our logistics coordinator and I spoke today and the shipment is finally moving onto local transport. Unless another unexpected inspection hits us, the games will be delivered this week.
8/11 Edit: The container with Far Away is undergoing a second inspection (now with x-rays). As frustrating as it is, there’s nothing we can do to speed up this process. We can only hope something more exciting isn’t actually being smuggled with the games.
7/31 Edit: Far Away was selected for a random inspection by US customs, further delaying the process.

Hair of the Dog is still slated for the end of 2022.
